According to the International Air Transport Association (IATA), Latin American airlines experienced their best performance in 2023 in the month of August, with a 6.2% year-on-year increase in cargo volumes. The figure also improved significantly compared to the previous month (+0.5%).

Capacity in August increased by 13.7% year-on-year

According to Airbus’ latest Global Market Forecast (GMF), air traffic in Latin America will grow by 2.2% over the next 20 years, equivalent to 2,390 new aircrafts for passenger and cargo.
